The anatomy of a dimensional piece.
In this piece you can see the different layers (or reliefs) Then added to the reliefs are the shaped letters.
Here I used a dome shape and to that the "S"s and the "N" have a texture applied giving them a modeled surface.

Here I took an existing Weather vane that had a hoarse on it and made the train piece to replace the hoarse.
This has a piece of steel that was cut using a CNC plasma cutter sandwiched between two pieces of 1-1/2" High Density Urethane foam that gives the train some depth and dimensional shape.
so this whole piece is 3-1/4" thick.
